Dr. Kubic serves as dean of libraries at Southwestern. He has more than 40 years of experience as a theological librarian within the SBC context. Dr. Kubic is committed to serving the men and women of Southwestern as they prepare for the ministry and reach the world for Jesus Christ.
Dr. Kubic is a member of several academic societies in the library sciences including, the American Theological Library Association, the Associate of Christian Librarians, the Guild of Book Workers, and the American Library Association. He also serves as the book review editor for The Christian Librarian and an indexer for the Christian Periodical Index.
Dr. Kubic is an ordained minister and a chaplain in the United States Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol.
His interests include reading, hiking, biking, kayaking, and book restoration/conservation. He and his wife Donna have one adult son.
