Introducing the schools of Southwestern Seminary
Each of our academic schools is led and staffed by men and women with both high academic prowess and hands-on ministry experience. Whatever school you choose, we’ll help you live your calling.

Roy J. Fish School of Evangelism and Missions
Experience spiritual growth through mentorship, a solid theological grounding in Scripture, and coursework that equips you to share the Gospel.
Meet the Dean
“Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary has historically been the seminary that has trained more missionaries for field service and equipped more church leaders for evangelistic/apologetic ministry than any other. The sun never sets on Southwestern alumni.”
- John D. Massey, dean of the Roy J. Fish School of Evangelism and Missions
Southwestern Women
Get the training you need to serve powerfully as a strong, gifted, and called Southwestern woman.
Meet the Dean
“From the days of Priscilla, Dorcas, Phoebe, and even Euodia and Syntyche, women have had great influence in the New Testament church. Today is no exception. Women are leading well as Bible teachers, mentors, counselors, ministry leaders, and voices of wisdom.”
- Terri. H. Stovall, dean of women
