Dr. Streett serves as an associate professor of biblical studies in the School of Theology. His teaching and research interests span both Old and New Testaments, Second Temple Judaism, and Biblical Theology. In addition to his faculty role, he serves as Associate Editor for the Southwestern Journal of Theology.

Dr. Streett’s book The Vine and the Son of Man: Eschatological Interpretation of Psalm 80 in Early Judaism (Fortress Press, 2014) traces the eschatological interpretation of Psalm 80 from the time of its composition to its appropriation in several New Testament texts. He has contributed essays to several publications including, “Kingship” in The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Bible and Ethics (Oxford University Press, 2014) and “Hermeneutics” in the forthcoming work, A Handbook of Theology for the People of God (B&H Academic, 2022). He has also written articles for the Criswell Theological Review and the Southwestern Journal of Theology.

Dr. Streett is a member of Evangelical Theological Society, Institute for Biblical Research, and the Society of Biblical Literature and he regularly presents at academic conferences.

He is married to Allison, an accomplished sculptor and mother of six.
