Membership Requirements

Ph.D. students in the School of Theology who are pursuing Old Testament or New Testament as either a major or a minor. New members are selected by a majority vote of the existing members.

Must be directly connected to Southwestern as a student, staff, or faculty or spouse of a student or staff or faculty, must remain in good standing with code of conduct.

Purpose

To promote fellowship among members, serve members of the fellowship, connect SWBTS with Brazil, and evangelize. The Fellowship promotes broad educational growth, the development of leadership skills, and participation in public affairs.

Membership Requirements

Despite being organized by Brazilians, anyone who is officially connected to the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, regardless of nationality can be a member of the Brazilian Fellowship.

Purpose

To provide every Indian Student an opportunity to establish fellowship with one another and represent the Indian students’ community of SWBTS. To help bond one another and families with the love of Christ and strive for unity among students and families through worship and fellowship.

Any student at SWBTS is eligible to be an active member but only students of Indian origin may hold office.

An eligible member shall be the wife of a student enrolled in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary or Texas Baptist College or a woman enrolled in school whose husband is not a student.
