Student Leadership Council
The Student Leadership Council encourages highly motivated students to bolster the Southwestern community to engage students and families by facilitating campus-wide events while building the kinds of relationships that promote discipleship and spiritual growth.

- $750 scholarship for Fall and Spring semesters

Eligibility Requirements
- At least one semester of study completed at Texas Baptist College, or one semester of study completed at Southwestern Seminary
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: 2.5
- Must maintain full time academic status
- Must be willing to commit to one academic year of service (Fall and Spring semesters)
- Display spiritual and emotional maturity
Responsibilities Include
- Attend and participate in all Fall and Spring Student Life events
- Complete office hours if unable to attend a Student Life event
- Plan and attend all monthly Student Life meetings and retreats
- Attend and lead at Welcome Week events in both Fall and Spring
- Must be flexible to work a few weekend events throughout the year
- Taking initiative to connect with students and fostering community
- Maintain regular communication with Student Life office staff
